Kathleen M. Serfass

Kathleen M Serfass, age 72 of West Haven passed away on January 19, 2022.  Born to the late John and Antonia Kleindienst in Ashtabula Ohio, she learned the meaning of hard work and dedication while growing up on the family farm.  She was the loving wife of Gary W Serfass.  She is survived by her son Coby (Heather) of Hamden, and her three Grandsons Kaden, Peyton, and Jaxon.  She is also survived by her Niece Kimberly Kleindienst and her son Matthew Peck of Hamden.  Kathleen was predeceased by her Brothers Dennis and Gary Kleindienst.

Prior to her retirement from Graybar Electric Kathleen held many jobs from type setting and graphic design.  But her most important job was being a supportive and encouraging Mother who did whatever it took to make sure her family had everything they needed.  

She will be missed by all who knew her, at her request all funeral services will be private.

The family would like to thank the staff at Yale New Haven Hospital  for their compassionate care during her final days, and the staff at Hamden Health Care, especially Linda and Ted for always going above and beyond to take care of her.
